Model MAH4000, will not spin out, door lock will
Check if the "locked"or "door locked" light comes on. If it does not, you need to replace the wax motor in the door lock assembly and the machine control board, which is inside the control panel. The control board is expensive, so instead of buying the whole control board, if you're good in electronic repair and soldering, try checking ebay for the control board repair kit. Search for "MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT". It has all instructions how to do the repair. Good luck!

Washer does not remove water in final spin
If washer hums when it should spin, and the washer will not drain, you may have 2 issues.
First check that the drain pump, drain hose, and wall drain are free of debris.
The washer may not spin properly if the drain system is not operable.
Once you are sure the washer drain pump, drain lines, wall drain, and drain hose is okay, run a test wash.
If the washer hums but now drains, you fixed one issue.
If the washer still hums, you may have a bad belt, motor coupler, motor itself, etc...
Check parts for wear and replace as necessary.I pulled the drain impeller and found a sock from my little guy stuck in there. Fixed!
check all water outlets to make sure there is nothing blocking the pipes.

How to fix leak from soap dispensor
I assume you have water coming out of the dispenser and running down the front of the machine. You probably have a build up of soap powder in the water inlet and it is restricting the flow and backing up.
Soap powder is only partially soluble in cold water and a residue of undissolved powder builds up over time, one of the reasons I use a liquid detergent. Remove the dispenser tray, it should pull out fairly easily with just a little resistance. Try and clear any blockages, hot water is best as it dissolves better. Clean the tray you have removed and re-assemble.

Error message SUD and F21 even after unclogging the filter
Push the pause/cancel button twice to clear your message. Then run through a rinse/spin cycle. Next try a normal load without any detergent. SUDS is usually from too much detergent. If this fails, checked the hose for kinks. Check connections and if all that fails, you will probably have to replace the pump. Good Luck!

Washer wont work E3 comes out showing
First check for a resistance to turning the tub by hand.It should turn freely. Clothing between tubs ? I don't know how old the washer is and if the bearings are shot and noisy, this is sensed by the motor and control. High dollar to fix.The problem could be a loose wire in the female connector block at the motor. There are locking tabs on each of the female connectors and one could be not holding it in the block when pushed onto the motor causing a loose connection.
check for bent male terminal at the motor block.
can be what's called a hall sensor but it isn't a seperate part from the motor. It senses the rotation of the tub and motor.
Its a good idea to Know what the problem is before buying parts
to correct this issue.
Good Luck
A knowledgable tech may be a good idea with this issue.
