Glass light cover causes buzzing
One possible reason why the glass light cover causes buzzing is that it is vibrating against the fan blades or other parts of the fan. This could be due to a loose fit or a manufacturing defect. One way to test this theory is to remove the glass cover and turn the fan on to see if the buzzing noise stops.
If the buzzing noise does stop, you could try adding some padding or cushioning to the glass cover or the parts it rests against to reduce vibration. You could also try tightening any screws or bolts that secure the glass cover to ensure a snug fit.
Another possibility is that there is an issue with the fan motor or electrical components. In this case, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a professional electrician or repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

Minka Aire Concept II only spins counter-clockwise.
Did you press and hold the reverse button while the fan was rotating? According to the manual, the fan needs to be on (blades rotating) to use the reverse button on the full-feature remote. Press and hold the button for 3+ seconds until you hear a faint click. The blade motion should reverse. The manual is available on the product page here:

If that doesn't work, I have to ask if the receiver unit is correctly installed and if the remote is the original one for the fan. You may need to check if the transmitter has had the frequency setting changed to avoid interference. This could mean that the previous owner had multiple fans and provided the wrong remote with your current fan. See the section on the second page of the trouble-shooting section for adjusting the transmitter frequency and pairing the remote to the new frequency.
I hope this helps. Fan and remote still won't communicate then I'm not sure how to diagnose which one is at fault.
