I am getting an F2

Hi,

F2 means that your rotor is jammed. If you open the drawer and remove the dish rack, you can pull straight up to remove the wash arm. There is a plastic locking ring in the center of the silver filter plate. Twist this 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and pull the filter up and out. Next is the rotor, turn the rotor 1/4 turn counter-clockwise as well and replace this part because it's not functioning correctly (assuming you don't see something blocking the rotor from moving that you can just remove).

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Fault Code 21----Can you help

There is a service manual for technicians on the inside of your units cabinet. This should give you an explanation of faults so you can identify the problem.

Fisher and Paykel Washing Machine

Assuming that the machine was unused for a period of time , please allow to have the washer plugged on to remove any traces of moisture on the machine's circuitry while it was in transit.
Also if there was any corrosion in the motherboard as it was off circuit for a long time, this might happen.
If there is no result after keeping it ON for several hours, Unplugging and resetting once again then the main controller board , connectors and wires must be checked for possible damage during transit.
It will be good to have the set removed out , looked into carefully for any such breakages, reconnect all the wires to notice any change.
Please try these tips and respond.

Our Fisher & Paykel Intuitive

Hi, this is an update on what I found out about the E51 error code from Fisher & Paykel. This code is an error with the internal memory as one of the previous poster's said. Fisher & Paykel Rep said though it wont hurt the function of the machine it should still be replaced because it may effect the compliance information.

My washing machine is showing

Hi just read your posting. Now ERROR CODE 40 is called Bowl Dis-engage Fault. This means that the clutch has not re-engaged to start the machine on a spin cycle. There are 4 things to check on your machine to establish where the fault is located. The 1st is the clutch, the 2nd is the pressure switch tube, the 3rd is the control module and the last your machine has too many suds in the bowl.Would you like me to help you test all of these things in the list? Please reply on how you would like to proceed and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.

The Wash Progress LEDs indicates a code when a fault is detected. Some of the LEDs flash to indicate the fault code number. Please specify which among the LEDs are flashing to determine the fault code and pinpoint the faulted part so that necessary actions can be undertaken. Fault code 00111 110 =

Hi just read your posting. The error code you indicated is called PUMP FAULT.The 2 things that cause this error code to appear are a faulty pump or a faulty control module. The manual says this fault is detected by excess electrical current going to the pump. But even if you test the ohms rating of the windings and it is about 33 ohms it could still be faulty due to the inductance of the pump being faulty. When I do a service call and get this fault I change the pump and if the fault is still there I change the control module. My best guess would be the pump but as I mentioned earlier it could be the control module. Please reply on how you would like to proceed and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa.
F1 error means that the flood switch has been activated. You'll need to reset it by powering off the breaker or by unplugging the unit from the power socket and mains for more than five minutes. Please check that there is no blockage in the drain hose and it is not raised higher otherwise the water will run back to the dishwasher. Also perform the following procedure---

    • Unplug power and remove bottom dish drawer
    • Use a Sponge and dry all the excess water underneath
    • Remove circuit board cover
    • Dry all around and underneath as much as possible
    • Apply hairdryer for 10-15min

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The issue seems to be with the control board going bad and should be replaced however, before replacing the control you can take it apart and try to blow some air with the help of hair dryer, if still its not resolved then you’ll have to replace the control. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

I have just owned a Fisher & Paykel washing

F&P washing machines have a self diagnosis capability. However you have to be able to programme the fault mode and be able to interpret the binery display.
It would be best if you called a tech, because ,although the fault could be a simple one, there is always the chance that a component has failed and caused another to fail as well. (Not uncommon with F&P machines)
If you replace a part it might fail again because of a secondary fault.
An experienced tech will check the machine completely, and replace the part or parts and should warranty the work and parts.
You won't be covered by a warranty if you install the parts yourself..
Probably not what you wanted to hear, but a lot less heartache and stress in the long run...
TIP.. Get quotes for fees, experience and warranty before you commit to a service..
Good luck....Nomess
