Hi there,
The reason why they are unrecognized is because the hard drive aside from having a bad network card has a bad File Sytem.
Please try another computer to check if the file system of those partitions will be recognized.
If not you may want to use this software called recuva and recover as much files as you could.
Although it doesn't guarantee 100% file recovery I'm sure it will be able to recover the files that are still readable.
http://www.piriform.com/recuva/download
There's the link where to download the software.
Hope this helps!

Hello.
Unless you changed the default, your PX-EH25L receives its IP address from your router. Log into your router setup page and check its DHCP client list. There you will find a list of all of the devices connected to your router. The PX-EH25L will be in that list along with its provided IP address. --Steve
It doesnt read install or
That usually means it needs replacement. As long as you see the drive light up and spin trying to read things then you know the problem is in the drive. No lights can be power or cables. You may have noticed that it wouldn't write dvd's then it wouldn't read them, and finally it wouldn't read the cd's.Thats a typical failure pattern. When these drives fail the heads get out of alignment. So the dvd's have problems first as they require a lot more accuracy. The cd's are relatively coarse and tolerate a lot more mis alignment. This is repairable but definitly not worth doing. when these were worth hundreds of dollars we would realign the heads but they are so cheap these days you should just get a new one.

What do i need to use my intervideo windvd creator
Find Serial# and Model# of your burner off of the TOP of the burner. Go to Plextor website, when you get to the website, Look for "Updates" or "downloads" and find the Model# update page for your Image Drive. Now, look-up your Model and download any updates for the burner. Some Manuf. have a software program they want you to download first, then you open that in your Desktop, while online, then it will have you type in the serial# and Model# from there, which it will do from then on.

Is there any history to this problem or did it just occur out of the blue?
Which version of Windows are you using?

Plextor PX-712A won't read or play CD's, but will
If it won't read any CDs at all, Music, Data, etc. then the CD Laser has died. These have a dual laser system, one for CD and one for DVD. You will need to get a new drive if you want CD functionality.
Sorry for the bad news!

My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
