If you're operating a 32 bit system, the full 4GB cannot be utilised, so around 3.5 or so will show. If it's less than 3, then you may have faulty RAM.

When sleep computer doesn't turn off computer
There is a difference between puting a computer to sleep and switch it off. When asleep, (mostely used on laptop) everything stays in RAM and the computer is feeding the RAM, so everything stays correct to be used immediately. When you switch off the computer, in Windows, goto the logo in the left corner, click (left button of the mouse) and chose shut down. On the MAC there are more options, but I give one:Go to the little apple on the left corner of the screen, left mouse click and in the mene chose Shut Down...I hope this will be of any help.
Computer keeps going sleep
Go to control panel, power options, click what to do when I close the lid. Make sure it says nothing.
Also check your power scheme for when it turns off the computer
JETWAY FM2 TA55 BLACK CREEN IF I WILL PLAY
Based upon the system requirements, and not knowing what APU you are running, I would say that the MB is most likely just fine, you are probably running a screen resolution or refresh rate too high for your monitor. That will cause the screen to blank for protection.
No video out...Jetway motherboard 939GT4L-G-VC I
Sounds like all your fixes have been CMOS/BIOS related, is there an internal speaker and if so can you hear anything upon boot? Usually video problems are accompanied by a many beep error code. Can you try out your video card in a different PC to rule out that being the problem and confirm more of a problem with the motherboard? Also the PSU should be checked, if there is an inadequate power good charge there will be no booting, and a bad CPU can also lock up a PC before POST.
