I just bought one at a garage sale and donn't know
You never said the make or model or type of telescope???
Refractors have a lens in front and the eyepiece goes in the back end of the tube.
A reflector has a mirror and the eyepiece usually goes in NEAR the front end of the tube.
Need assembly instructions for the

Very simple to operate - Take lens Cap off
Put diagonal into telescope (an "L" shaped component with a small mirror inside)
Put eyepiece into diagonal- use the lowest magnification which is the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it.
Go
outside during the daytime and practice focusing the telescope on a
distant object at least 100 yards away... then the focus knob very
slowly.Hope helps.
I built up my 660
This is a reflector style telescope with a mirror on the bottom. The focuser end is the UP end. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. DO NOT USE the 2x or 3x barlow if you have one-- practice focusing on a distant object during the day time and NEVER point the scope at the sun.
IMAGE IS BLURRY THROUGH ENTIRE
DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser and practice focusing on a distant object during the day time.
My scope on my telescope is seeing everything
ALL astronomical telescopes show upside down images. It is completely normal.
For terrestrial viewing you can buy an erecting diagonal to flip the image over. Like this one:

Read my frequently asked questions TIP on my profile page.
Is there a tasco luminova manual you can purchase
None located on the internet. However this is a simple reflector style telescope.
Meade maintains a web site with all of their manuals. Look under 4.5 Inch REFLECTOR for one that is similar to your telescope. They all assemble and are used in a similar fashion. Read my Tips on my profile page.

The part that is screwed on the rim of a telescope
Sorry no parts for that telescope. Made in China.
Next time do not buy a low cost cheaply made telescope. Try this web site-
http://www.telescope.com/control/main/
and read my tips on my profile page. You might find something that would fix this at a hardware store-- maybe.
I have the 40-060660 microscope and have it almost
You mean TELESCOPE not microscope.
Do NOT use the 2 x barlow.
Put the diagonal into the telescope, then put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the diagonal. Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

Can not focus telescope
Put the diagonal into the back of the telescope. Put the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it into the diagonal. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one.
Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. The moon should be your first target at night. Also read my TIPS on my profile page-- you bought what we call a "department store toy telescope". The scope is not much larger than a pair of 10 x 50mm binoculars.
The binoculars would have been better for Astronomy.
I would like to download the telescope manual. :)
You will not find a manual for that small refractor telescope. However they all are assembled in the same way, and used in the same way.
Meade maintains a web site with their manuals. Download one for a scope very similar to your telescope here:

Read my TIPS for using the scope in my profile page.
Just came into a used tasco 302048 . Everything is upside down!!!
the scope is made for both terrestrial viewing and astronomical. In order to see terrestrially upright, you need an inverting STAR DIAGONAL. The eyepiece will do nothing for inverting the image. you might have 2 diagonals in the kit that came wih the scope. the diagonal is the part that fits into the scope. then you place the eyepiece in the diagonal. if you have 2 diagonals , one is a 90 degree angle,(astronomical) and one is a 45 degree angle, (terrestrial). the eyepieces change the magnification of the image. the bigger the number (9mm, 20mm, 26mm,) the smaller the image. the smaller the number , the bigger the image gets. the number is inverse of the image. Hope this helps.
I keep on seeing white and dots every time i look
Are the white dots in the same place? You may have dust on your lens.
Take note if the spots move, if they do then I'm sorry it could be your eye...but if they are in the same place no matter where you are looking it would most likely be dust (or something) on the lens.
I have the same Telescope and am looking for lenses
If the opening is about 1 inch then you need eyepieces that are .965 inch --
The common sizes are .965, 1.25 , and 2 inch.
.965 eyepieces are available for purchase on Ebay and here:
