I have a Hoover steam vac spin scrub and with the attachment the water sprays out continuously reagardless if I press the button.

Just had this problem. Use a pair of needle nose pliers to tug up on the white nozzle at the end of the attachment. It should slide up about 1/4 of an inch and then you should be good to go. Be careful not to snap the plastic.

I have a Hoover SteamVac F5914-900 SpinScrub... The last time I used the hand tool attachment, it worked fine. Just tried to use it again, and now I only drips of water will come out of the hand spr

The brushes can be turned off on most of them via a switch on the hood. There shouldn't be water coming out onto the floor unless you are pulling the trigger at that top. You probably broke this when attempting to use the tools. http://www.vacuummedic.com/product.php?id=231 Good luck!

Water will not dispence while cleanning

Before using toolIt may be necessary to remove air fromthe system ("prime the pump") so theclean solution will flow to the tool. Followthese steps:1. Attach tool to hose and turn the carpetcleaner ON.2. Put the tool on a hard surface oragainst your hand to block off the suction.3. Wait a few seconds (can take up to15 seconds). Then squeeze the triggerand begin cleaning.http://hoover.com/file/604/

My Hoover steam vac spin scrub will not suction up

p{margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px;} Hello, Thank you for your recent e-mail. I am sorry to read about the problem that you are having with your cleaner. Please make sure your recovery tank and lid are installed correctly and forming proper seals. Make sure that your filter is clean of any debris. Clean the screen in the tank lid. Make sure your nozzle and squeegee (if on your model) are free of dirt/lint/hair and attached in their holsters correctly. Make sure you do not have any clogs in the hose. To restore suction, please try the following: *Remove dirty water tank and clean filters- main reason for low suction is dirty filter *Verify the dirty water tank cap is not missing. *Verify dirty water tank lid is inserted completely into unit. *When cleaning, the yellow float inside of dirty water tank should be free moving. • First remove your clean water tank and unplug the machine • Remove the dirty water tank lid and push the front panel piece (square plastic sliding piece in the front of tank) down to make sure it is inserted all the way. • When reattaching the lid, hook the tabs on the front of the lid to the tank first, then click shut in the back. Pull up on the lid firmly, it should not lift at all. If it does, try reattaching as a seal needs to be formed for suction. • Test to see if suction has been regained. If these suggestions do not solve your issue please call a service center. Your cleaner has at least a 6 month warranty for manufacturing defects. This warranty begins from the date of purchase, with the original sales receipt. If you do not have the original sales receipt, the warranty may be verified at the warranty repair center by MFG or serial number. Please visit www.Hoover.com and click on service center locator for a list of authorized dealers in your area for service and warranty assistance. My Hoover SteamVac F5915-900 will not pick up water. I've taken the resavor off several times trying to make sure nothing is under it's lid and replaced it as instructed. I don't know wh

ITS THE DUCT PIECE ON THE FRONT OF THE DIRTY WATER TANK (DWT). ITS NOT LINED UP. 1. TAKE LID OFF OF DWT2. SLIDE THE LITTLE SQUARE PIECE (5'X5'X1) (THE DUCT) ON THE FRONT OF THE DWT AS FAR UP AS POSSIBLE AND IF IT BENDS FORWARD FROM THE TOP, DO THAT TOO (SOME MODELS OPEN LIKE A DOOR TOP DOWN, OTHERS JUST SLIDE UP AND OUT COMPLETELY)3. SLIDE THAT DUCT BACK DOWN AS FAR DOWN AND BACK AS IT WILL GO. 4. PUT THE LID BACK ON BY HINGING THE FRONT LATCHES ON AND THEN SNAPPING THE BACK SIDE DOWN. 5. CHECK TO SEE IF THAT DUCT PIECE ON THE FRONT IS LOOSE BY PUSHING ON IT AND SEEING IF IT MOVES UP AND DOWN. IF IT IS, THE LID ISNT COMPLETELY ON, GO BACK TO STEP 4.IF THE DUCT IS SNUG, CONGRATS YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST MADE YOUR STEAM VAC VACUUM UP THE WATER AGAIN.
