first thing to check would be the agitator dawgs if you can free spin the agitator when the unit is off then this is what you would have to replace think they cose about 5-7 dollars on the other hand if you set the unit to spin and the unit spins and then you use your hand against the side wall to slow the tub down if the tub slows then you would have a faulty clutch both of these are assuming that the motor and transmission are working properly and in order to check both of these you would need to remove the cabinet if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations Thanks Rick

Chances are the wiring underneath to the transmission solinoid has broken. You'll have to drain the washer by laying the drain hose on the floor in a pan. Then turtle (flip on it's side) on a pad/carpet carefully and remove the back panel and trace the wires with a flashlight, If you find the break you can try a heavy duty **** splice but my experiences tell me adding wires to lengthing that cable is a better choice.

Yes, I work for GE what you need to do is to resent the appliance. Something should had happened with the computer of the washer. Just unplugged the machine for 40 seconds. You can unplugged or turn off the circuit breaker for 40 second and plugged back in. Select a normal cycle and let it run.

Most likely the main oven element has blown. A new element will cost about £20-£40, and if you're reasonably competent you can swap it in around 15 minutes. Turn the power off, undo the screws holding the element and pull it out. Carefully disconnect the push on terminals and take the element out. You probably won't even need to test the element with a multimeter, as you'll easily see if it's blown as the insulation will have blown off. nb. You may have to remove a cover before you can get at the element but should only be 4 screws max. Refitting is reversal of removal, just make sure the wires don't fall back behind the oven casing before you reconnect them!

Hi
F06 is for a door lock fault.
In order to get the door open you will need to drain any water still in the tub by lowering the drain hose into a bowl at floor level. This should then allow the door lock to open.
if the door still does not open, then you will need to access the door lock from inside the machine via removal of the top panel of the machine. Check the cable connections to the lock if ok then next check the motor brushes for wear.

If the machine has taken in water, and not drained it out. it will prevent the door from opening.
Have you tried draining the machine, and then trying to open the door?? The easiest way it to either set the machine on a slow spin cycle, and allow it to finish that, or if your particular machine has a "drain cycle" ( this feature is not on all models) set the machine to drain, and when it has finished, try opening the door. I hope this helps?

New belts fit vary tight. You probably have the right one. It takes a lot of force to stretch it in place. Ask someone else to do it for you.
