Speaker hum will usually happen from a faulty cable or connector. Try using a different cable

I'm assuming the speaker worked before you dropped it. If that's the case, there's a lot of things that could be wrong. Start by making sure power gets to the speaker. If it does, take of the screen and see if the speaker is damaged. If it's not, you'll have to figure out how to open the casing to check all the wire connections inside. If that all checks out, examine the circuit board and look for any scorch marks and/or damaged/loose components. Chances are the shock from the speaker impacting the floor broke something loose and you may have to buy new speakers.

Just install a sound card .. i prefer Sony sound card...
