First I have to say it seems you have a small connection problem... try changing the charger for another one or your connector . 10V with and adapter heads at Walmart for $9 dollars. Then see if it's the actual charger.. if that fails then you know it's the connector on the video camera and you can bring it for repair to a local fix it place those parts are cheap and easy to change. Takes about 20 minutes to change.. and thats after having a cup of coffee for 5 minutes.
I personally would buy a seperate charger for $29.99 and just have a rapid charge of 30 minutes for each batterie lasting 2 hours afterwards... Shower and shave and it's all ready.

If you have used any kinda abresive cleaning product on your LCD screen is is most likely finished and needs to be replaced or it is faulty from the beggining. You must go for and exchange or a repair replacement of the LCD..

Try first a Tape cleaner and a new cassette and start from scratch... and check if your camera is not damaged internally and it is actually recording and not just spining the tape to the end and rewind to find nothing on it. You seem to need serious repair. This means it needs a tech to have a serious look at it.

You need to buy a standard fire-wire IEEE cable at any store that sells such things (Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc.). I plugged it right into my fire wire port on my PC and Windows Movie Maker automatically launched.

Tools needed. Zip lock bag. Sillica packs from shoe boxes or find somewhere to buy more... SImply seal with the camera and wait a couple days. This will suck the dew out. :) DO NOT USE HEAT like from a hair dryer or anything like that. Too hot for a cam to handle.

try to dry up your camera using electric hair blower drier, dew is present inside your camera, but dont overheat the unit, place your hand between drier and cam to make sure you are not overheating it. if the trouble is still there, the sensor is defective and you need pro fix.

Try inserting another tape first. If the trouble is still there,Defective mechanism, a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. You need professional service to fix it.

Dew is likely to form in the following circumstances: ?When moving the camcorder from a cold place to a warm place. ?When placing the camcorder in a cold room which is then heated rapidly. ?When moving the camcorder outdoors from an air conditioned room or car. ?When placing the camcorder in the direct path of air blowing from an air conditioner. ?When placing the camcorder in a humid room. Dew will gradually form on the head drum of your camcorder and make the video tape stick to the head. This causes damage both to the head and the tape. When dew forms, recording and playback may not function properly. When ?DEW? flashes, remove the cassette, leave the cassette compartment open, and wait for a few hours to allow the camcorder to acclimatise to the surrounding temperature. To use the camcorder again, turn on the power after waiting for a few hours. Be sure that ?DEW? has disappeared. Do not insert a cassette while ?DEW? is flashing; this may result in damage to the tape.

Are there any error codes listed? Usually when a camcorder constantly ejects the tape it is because of a fault being present, the most likely one is moisture. Leave unit in a dry environment for a day with the cassette door open then try it. If you are sure the unit does not have moisture in it you probably have a bad moisture sensor. They go bad frequently. It is the small square device usually located on the deck base near the video drum and sometimes on the base of the drum. I do not know if you are capable of replacing this unit. If not you will need to find a reputable repair facility to get an estimate. Keep in mind from the description you gave of the problem it could be about anything. This is just the most common problem for this symptom. Several websites which offer free estimates are: http://www.videotech.com or http://www.camcorderrepair.com or http://www.videoonerepair.com Good luck.
