Sometimes if the refresh rate isnt set high enough you will see a noticeable flicker on the screen .. to change the
monitor
refresh rate .. you can right click on the desktop and then left click
on properties .. click on the setting tab then click on the advanced
tab then click on the monitor tab ..look in the drop down menu where it
says 60 hertz and see if the refresh rate can be changed .. if it cant
.. uncheck hide modes the monitor cant see and then click on the drop
down menu .. pick a refresh rate .. 75 hertz is what i use and it should
stop the flicker

well one major cause can be the weakness of the electron gun that fire
electrons on the silicon plate (pixels) that produces image on the
screen so there must be some problem in electron gun in my view
