I have a Samsung
Sounds like the monitor have a "cold joint" or having issues with overheating parts. I believe your monitor was used for long periods of time with no power saving active.
If you are a technician and are planning to fix it, you need to solder all cold joints. Also maybe the filaments inside the CRT are reaching the end of it's life.

Flyback is a step-up transformer multifly the voltage depends on the size of the tube and supplied high voltage to cathode ray tube.The minimum output voltage of this is 14000v DC for 14 inches crt monitor what if your crt is 17 inches 17000v DC very dangerous if you are not electronics repairman.
I too have d same problem..
unscrew the monitor plugs and re seat, often these plugs come loose and the pins fail to make contact reseating them usually solves the color bvleed. other than that you are using the wrong driver

For the monitor? In 10 years I've never needed drivers for a monitor, I think you need drivers for your display adapter, check the maker of your computer's website / support - download section for drivers.

Find the button that says DEGAUSS push it...
next try to increase your refresh rate of the monitor which is controlled by the video software in you computer...right click in a blank area go to properties at the bottom click-> on that hit the Settings tab look for ->advanced box towards the bottom right->click on the Monitor tab -> in the middle it will say "Screen refresh rate" use the drop down arrow and select at least 70-75 Hertz.

goto cotrol panel click on system icon, click hardware tab, click device manager button, If anything is listed to the left of the devices except for the "+" sign,(an exclamation, yellow triangle..)
that driver need to be reinstalled, look for the one that says display adapter and check it.
If needed goto your PC manufacturers website and click on "support and drivers" or "Downloads and enter your model number of PC, then OS(winXP) and it will list the available drivers for your PC.
