If you have a car charger, try it first. If it works - you'll know to replace your home charger. If it doesn't, then you need to replace the battery. Make sure and charge the new battery for 24 hours before using it in your phone for the first time. If it's not the battery, you'll need to send your phone in for service / repair.

probably the best is via usb conection ...I suppose you have the driver ...but I believe that will only see the card ...anyway its a built in 2003 windows mobile second edition ...and probably have the feature to sync with another computer ...but ..for resons of memory space ...and pther programs better to do it manually ...just transfer via cable or blue-tooth all the data you need from one to the other ...and organize them...cause it might get in error if some things does not match or it has not enough space to do it...anyway if you want to try in any folder on tools there is a sync feature ...and you can choose what to syncronize to ...
The link its for the battery ..if you didnt get one by now.........

you should just be able to sync it with the new computer. The data from the IPAQ will be synced to the new computer.

I noticed the same thing on my IPAQ, and found that if I push the button (somewhat quicly) TWICE that it turns it off completely. Also, you might want to check to see if you have it set up so that it will turn on when you push ANY button (it may not make a difference but I found that when I was putting mine back into the wallet holder I use, I'd inadvertently hit a button and it would turn back on!) :>

I had the same problem. By turning of the POI (Points Of Interest) it no longer crashed. There is also and update for tomtom, version 5.10. (www.tomtom.com -> support). I haven't checked it out myself though. There is a guide available on how to configure your non-tomtom-bt GPS mouse. http://62.250.17.58/cgi-bin/uk.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3236&p_cre ated=1119370927&p_sid=Bs6i7vLh&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYn k9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD0zMzgmcF9wcm9kcz0mcF9jYXRzPSZ wX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3BhZ2U9MQ**&p_li=&p_topview=1 good luck!

Have you considered software running in the background on your computer? Usually firewall/anti-virus software can block the connection. If you are running any Norton or McAfee products, it is likely the cause. Try disabling them, or boot into safe mode with networking support and see if the PDA responds from here. Safe mode loads a minimal set of drivers and no startup programs. Goodluck!

The HP support assistant is a bit of software that is pre installed on all HP computers, it helps you keep the drivers and other software up to date, it will also help you trouble shoot issues with the device ect, if you have lost the software due to a re-install ect you can download it from the HP web site
