You probably need a new one. What probably happened when the rain water got on it was it might have hit an essential component that was on that side. Like the power cord maybe it short circuited the power cord and the thing doesn't work without power.

are you using a usb port for mouse and key board??? you might have to change the drivers or find update, you changs drivers thru control panel ,look for usb hubs by scrolling down and you should a plus sign next to your mouse and keybord, clik on this and it will expand and show you your drivers, it will ask if you want to update, or roll back driversor,,, search,,,,if you don't like the options , just remove mouse and keyboard drivers and then reinstall or get new drivers from manufactors website and install them,

Hi, it sounds like the rubber behind the space bar is weak or stuck and in both case you have to replace the entire keyboard because it's not worth fixing it compared to the price of a new one.

hi..
this circuit board might have damaged because of wetness. try to dry up the board and clean it throught wil proper soft cloth and try using the keys.

if the problem stil presists then the circuit board is damaged so please change the keyboard
