This happens to me occasionally. There is a long thin bottom panel along the floor. Then there is another panel behind it. Behind, there is a pan that holds water. If too much water gets in that pan the intake/drain light comes on. Take those two panels off, feel in the pan, if there is water pooled, then wet vacuum the pan dry. That solved my problem and saved me about $200. I got that info from the miele advisors. That is what it is about 90% of the time if it isn't that intake valve.

Hi dear.If you are handy enough, that's what you can check to make a solution for yourself.Goodluck.
Check all hoses, connections and threaded unions for leaks.
Note:
If the leak source has not yet been detected, check the following areas
in the toekick and the drip pan for wear and tear:
Connection between the circulation pump and the sump
Axial face seal of the circulation pump
Connection between the drain pump and the sump
Connection between the salt container and the water intake
Connection between the water intake and the cabinet side wall
 Overflow (e.g., excess foam formation)
Water level between the overflows ( seating of the lower door seal?)
Connection between the cabinet and the salt container
Non-return valve in the sump ( water running back from the drain hose?)
3. Check overflow float switch B8/3 for continuity and correct operation.
4. Carefully dry all electrical components in the drip pan area.
Cause:
Float switch defective.
Remedy:
Replace overflow float switch B8/3.
I hope that helps.Thanks.

its obvious the drain pumps blocked, rempty machine, remove drain plug, wire mesh scoop water in middle, then take off the plastic cover with a steel like wire on it, clear out the **** blocking the pump, assemble then should be ok.

try removing the pump cover in the sump to see if it is blocked or jammed. it tells you how to in the user manual.

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

Hi

The first thing that should be checked is if its draining properly as it could be that the drain hose is clogged and needs to be cleaned. The drain pump also should not be clogged. Also the stopcock should be opened fully and the water inlet valve should be checked for any clogs. Also the metal filter, impeller cover and the air gap unit should be checked. After checking this you can reset the error as follows: turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs. Then switch the appliance off and then back on again. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hi,

if you remove the door panel you will see a small hose from the fan to the combi dispener. Remove this and blow through it. Also connect it to the combi dispener and blow and then to the fan end and blow. Food and muck block the pipe and the excess water cannot escape back into the unit so instead it pours out the vent. you will find the fan is then quieter.

Hello, Welcome to Fixya. The issue is likely just the blower and housing drain hose blocked with "dirt" from time & use. First things first...**turn off the power via the breaker at your home service panel...safety first** Now you will need to take the door panel off ( watch those edges they are VERY sharp ) and unfasten the control panel as well, the screw`s are around the perimeter of the door facing the dishwasher tub opening. Once you have the panel off, you will then unscrew the round part surrounding the vent fan inside the door ( it turns about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise ) the fan motor assembly can be pulled off the door and cleaned out. You should now remove the small rubber drain line from the fan to the tub which is routed inside the door panel & clean it out as it too gets plugged hence, not allowing the condensation to run back into the tub to be pumped out so when you open the door it pours onto your floor. Hope you find that helpful. Let me know how you make out or if you require further assistance. Thanks for visiting "FixYa" for your repair questions. Please take a moment and rate the solution provided here for you. Sorry this solution is so condensed, it just appears this way when using my iphone no matter how I space it when writing. Good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)
