Strip carbs they could be filthy and a jet slightly blocked also check there are no bits in fuel tank if so you need to get them out otherwise it will just keep happening. if this is the problem I would put a little fuel filter in it will stop muck reaching carbs and they are good for a thousand miles on a bike not sure on tractor though, Hop you solve your problem.

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Filter? fuel tank outlet clogged? fuel shutoff valve not completely open? Other issues.

disconnect the ground wire from switch. if still no spark then your coil is no good. if you get spark now then you have a short in your ground wire or switch

Could be that the coil is getting hot and stops working. Verify that the impedance is within speck. If not, replace it.
