Cannot close oven door after cleaning
Hi Pauline:
Lots of oven doors are mounted by metal tabs that slide into slots.
I'd guess that maybe while cleaning, they may have moved.
Try moving the door towards the closed position until it binds or stops. Stand facing the door, knees against it, and hold both edges of the door with your hands. Gently lift the door and then try to slide it back down toward the hinge point. If it does not want to move, use a flashlight and try to determine what is stopping it from closing.
Hope this helps. Let me know.
Westinghouse side by side refrigerator, model WSE6100WA fridge not working and electronic display is blank,
If the electronic display is blank and the fridge is not working, it is possible that there is an issue with the power supply to the fridge or with the control board. Here are some steps that you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the power supply: Make sure that the fridge is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped.
- Check the control board: The control board is responsible for regulating the temperature in the fridge and freezer. If the control board is faulty, it may cause the electronic display to be blank and the fridge to stop working. Try resetting the control board by unplugging the fridge for a few minutes and plugging it back in.
- Check the temperature sensors: The temperature sensors in the fridge and freezer are responsible for communicating the temperature to the control board. If a sensor is faulty, it may cause the fridge to stop working. You may need to replace the faulty sensor.
- Call a professional: If you're not comfortable troubleshooting the issue on your own, it's best to call a professional appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
It's important to address this issue as soon as possible to prevent food from spoiling in the fridge and freezer.
The alarm on my westinghouse WSE6100WA side by
Hi I have this same problem. The seals are all fine. I tried taking the back panel off the freezer. There was a little bit of ice there but not much. I defrosted it as suggested here. I also cleaned the coils on the back. Things will freeze, but it never gets to the desired -14 degrees Celsius, so it beeps regularly.

Check to see that the fridge is level and the doors are properly aligned and closing properly.
If the door hinges are not set properly, the door will not close properly and there will be an air leak around the seals.
If this happens, the fridge will run continuously and all the stuff in your vegetable bin will keep freezing
