Why won't the paper jam error code clear on HP 3930
First, check to make certain there are no small pieces of paper stuck in the gears of the rollers and carriage. You may have to reach in through the paper tray to move the carriage to see both sides. To do this, the printer must be unplugged.
If you are certain you have cleared the jam, I would do a power reset:
With the printer on -
* unplug the power cord from the back of the printer
* unplug the power cord from the wall outlet
* wait at least 15 seconds
* plug the cord back into the wall
* plug the cord back into the back of the printer
* printer should turn on by itself, if not press power button to turn on
* try to print a test page: (With printer on - while holding the power button in, open and close the front cover of the printer 4 times, then release the power button, self-test should print.)
The following link from the HP Support site is a step-by-step guide to removing paper jams. You may want to follow them to ensure you have cleared all the jams and reset the printer correctly.

Can no longer check my ink level.
Sometimes Windows 7 drivers need to be downloaded from the HP support site. Also, make sure you have installed the application on the CD that came with the printer in addition to the printer drivers. That is what you would have run under Programs before. If your Windows 7 computer was not used to manage the printer before, you will need to install the HP management tool on it in order to see ink levels.
My printer will not print correctly.
First thing I would do is take the toner cartridge out and shake it left and right a bit. Hit it 'firmly' on the side with your hand, then put it back. Your manual will probably describe the same procedure. That usually loosens up enough toner powder to print another 20 or 30 sheets. How long have you had that particular toner cartridge? Would you have done a lot of printing using that one? Sounds nearly empty to me. As a test, does anything print normally? I mean write some random stuff in notepad like about twenty lines (just hold a key down on the keyboard) and then try to print from notepad. Does that print normally? If so, the problems likely to be with your application on your PC. Obviously you have restarted both the printer and the PC? As a last resort, you might have to download a newer printer driver, but that's another story. Rgds, Dave.

HP has drivers on their site for just about every printer. I found one for mine there. HP.com
You can ask for a disk or just download one.
When I try to print

Printer wont print after i
Silly question from me: Did you remove the celo seal from the new cartridges before you installed them? Is there a routine in your printer software you should exercise? (Control Panel/Printer/HP printer)
Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com
How to install hp deskjet
Go the HP's website and look for customer support and download drivers and software for your printer before trying to connect to your notebook. (
www.hp.com)
Enter your printer model info and search for a driver for your operating system. Download and then install it on your notebook, then connect the printers usb cord & turn it on. The notebook should automatically recognize the printer once the cable is attached - and you will see a pop up icon on the bottom right side of your screen near the clock area that tells you this. Try connecting the cable to your notebook and watch the bottom right side of your screen at the same time. You should see it auto recognize the printer. If it does not sense the printer after installing the software, then go to your control panel and choose "printers" to manually install it by following the prompts.
I have the cd but
Are you installing the printer on a new computer? The installation disc is probably for an older OS and the new computer's OS needs a different installer.
The software and drivers for supported OS versions are available here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=445478&lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=445476&taskId=135 . Select your OS from the list.
For some OS versions, the appropriate driver is in the OS (for example Windows 7). In that case, connect the USB cable from the printer and the computer. Allow the OS to find the driver. (For Windows, you may have to open the Windows Update panel (Start > All Programs > Windows Update). Have the program search for available updates. Then install the update (check in the Optional Software as well as the Important Updates).
I hope this helps.
