Since you are seeing this problem with the flatbed scanner section that usually indicates its not a glass cleaning problem. If the it is all the way from top to bottom then it's most likely the scanner imaging unit itself. It will need to be replaced or cleaned.

This is similar everywhere, you will have to find Language menu where you can change it, In the settings or there will be special information icon on the printer for it to make general setting.

So you cannot print using the print dialog to your HP1510 printer in word or excel but you can print to PDF? Is that correct?

Jam in tray 1 sounds like the feed roller is worn out. Look for signs of wear. If the rollers run and does no pull, you know that is the issue

If you reset the printer it's no longer in your home group and needs to be added back to see networked folders.

Guys, its easy.. I found a little piece of paper after seeking calmly. It was on the paper pulling system when collecting from the tray. See the pic, it was right whee i'm pointing with my tool. It was locking one of the sensors around there. See in the third image where my tool is pointing.. Its exactly inside and very difficult to see.. And one more thing.. You'll have to unscrew the upper cover to see it.. Good luck

Soft reset:
1. Press Menu. 2. Simultaneously press and then release the * button and the # button to open the developer's menu. 3. Press the < or > button until the message REINIT FFS appears on the second line of the control panel display. 4. Press . 5. The process takes approximately 2.5 minutes. During that time, the control-panel display will change several times before returning to Ready. 6. When the Ready message appears on the control-panel display, press Cancel to exit the developer's menu.

NVRAM reset:

1. Turn off the all-in-one. 2. Press and hold down the * and 5 buttons. 3. Continue to hold down the buttons while you turn on the all-in-one. Hold the buttons throughout the entire power-on sequence. 4. When Permanent Storage Init. appears on the control-panel display, release the buttons. 5. When prompted, set the language and telecom country/region. 6. Allow the all-in-one to return to Ready before using it.

There is a known issue with this series and what happens is that the paper exit flag sags from the heat of the fuser and interferes with the paper path. One small $10 dollar part but you have to take a lot of parts out to get to it. You can see this flag if you open the front drawer where you remove duplex jams, it is right behind the duplexer.

Error related tray lifting....just check which tray is not lifting and find "is there any kind of abstraction to lift the tray".
Then just refix the tray lifter assy. connector otherwise replace lifter assy.
