take printer outside of building
pull out toner cartridge and drum carerfully
Spray inside of printer to get rid of split extra toner with a can of compressed air - usually available from an electronic supply shops

Check the drum has no tone split on it .
Put drum and toner cartridge back into the printer

The ink level in the color cartridge has three different colors in it. You may need a new cartridge. Magenta is usually the first to go out.

Book says that it is the cyan drum drive assembly that needs replacing. Part number RG5-7723-000CN.
DO NOT attempt to do it yourself. A tech needs to do it.

You have a scanner. It is the laser/scanner which writes the image to the drum. It is located under the top cover in the center. It is a black box and most times the issue is the scanner motor has become dusted up and does not turn to the correct speed. Not sure if yours can be repaired but on older models I have repaired them by opening the laser/scanner assembly and removing the little circut board with the motor and chrome spinning shaft. If you can remove the chrome piece from the motor you do so and then place a very tiny drop of synthetic oil down the shaft, install the chrome piece and spin a few time by hand and put everyting back together. You can download the service manual by doing a google search.

CP3525-59.FO ERROR. 1. TRANSFER BELT FLAG/ACTUATOR, WORKING? 2. SENSOR CHECK BEHIND CYAN TONER CARTRIDGE, WORKING? THESE 2 ARE IN THE BOOK AND EASY TOO CHECK. 3. MY ISSUES WAS THAT I REPLACED THE FUSER PRESSURE RELEASE MOTOR ASSY, BUT DIDN'T REALIZE GEARS WERE MISSING FROM SECOND HAND UNIT COMPANY ORDERED.:(. GOT MACHINE WORKING, BUT CYAN CAM IS OUT OF ALIGNMENT AND HAVE TO REINSTALL MAIN DRIVE AND CALIBRATE.. THIS ALL STARTING BY NOT USING HP SUPPLIES. BAD TONER CARTRIDGES HAVE TURN THIS JOB REAL UGLEY!!
