Display says Redializing...
If the display reads "reinitializing" but does not come to ready, your first troubleshooting step is to disconnect any USB or Network cables attached to the printer and restart the printer. If you still get the error, then likely the formatter on the printer is bad.
Printer error 59.99
59 error is often a motor error ;but on this machine when it is followed by 99,then it is something with the secondary transfer roller engaging mechanism.which involves the feed motor and a solenoid and the mechanism.
in the diagnostic menu ,there are some component tests you can run and one of them would be the secondary (transfer 2) test.which would run the feed motor and the secondary transfer solenoid ,some path rollers and should move the mechanism.it should lift it ,i think about 1/2 inch or so.if you do the test you may have to listen for the motor,or the solenoid to click, and you should be able to see if the 2ndary transfer roller raises.overriding the door switch can help also so it can be done with it open.
the door switchshould be on the upper left inside right inside and in back of the control panel, plastic piece sticking out of the front door there would normally depress the switch when closed.the secondary transfer roller is in the bottom in the paper path towards the back of the printer from the paper pickup unit.if the cartridges are out,you should be able to see it going across the paper path down there.should have a blue handle like on it's right side.
I own a hp 3700
Hello,
first, in printer menu, there must be something like color calibration or adjustment, its auto procedure, try to do that and then print demo page.
Second it can be that the image transfer belt/roller needs to be changed or laser unit needs to be cleaned.
Hope that helps!

D is for Duplex. You can print at both sides of the paper. N is for Network. It means that your machine is equipped with a network Interface.
The display should say "READY" when finishing the initialisation process. Try connect a computer and see if it will print. There is a small pin hole at the left side cover. put something small inside that hole and press the hidden switch. That should start a "Engine Test". The printer will print a single page with horisontal lines. If the test page comes out perfect, it's probibly something wrong with your Operator Panel/Display. If you are thinking about replacing the panel/display, here's the part# RM1-0511-000CN
