Haze on INSIDE of HP 2610 AIO scanner glass - how to remove glass?
with the 2610, on the right side remove gently the coverplate and then slide the under panel down. There are four places it attaches to the printer case one at each corner approximately. you can try to do what I did and use a greenie flathead screwdriver to pry it free, or do the not so obvious but much easier and kinder to the machine version of pushing it down to get the L shaped plastic pieces to release from the upside down L underneath. then there are three size T10 hex or star shaped screwdriver screws to release three of the four sides. I never could get the front silver fitted piece off, but was able to remove the glass. DO NOT CLEAN WITH WINDEX...IT LEAVES RESIDUE. USE VINEGAR. ALSO, USE WHITE GLOVES AS any dust you get on it cleaning it will leave small fibers on both sides. I used a special glass cleaning rag and then gently replaced it. note which side the black strip goes when you remove the glass!
Error message
I am prining envelopes and got this message twice so far. I just unplugged the printer for a hard boot. Wish someone knew what generates this message though. Annoying.
