• Turn off the machine.
• Unplug it from the power source.
• Let it rest for 15 minutes, this will allow the machine's memory to clear.
• Remove and place back the papers on the paper tray.
• Open the front cover and check the edges for any small objects that prevents the cover to close properly.
• Plug back the machine from its power source and turn on the printer.

the optical unit scan drive is not working, try switching off and on, this may reset the problem, if not i'm afraid its a technician thats needed.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
