Removal of interior oven light
Most require a simple 1/4" nut driver to remove 2 screws that hold the glass housing over the bulb. Then just unscrew the bulb and install new one.

My oven keeps tripping the electric
It will be the ring element, short circuit. This is the element that runs around the fan behind the backplate in the oven. It can be replaced by isolating from the mains, remove the 4-6 screws hold the backplate on. remove the two screws on the element brabket and one screw holding the element in position at approx 4 o' clock. Be very careful removing the element at the bracket, ease it out very slolwly so as not to detach the spade connector and wiring. A replacement can be obtained from ebay, espares etc or neff direct via there website (link to spares shop). Make sure the wiring goes back on the new element as it came off the old one. Replace screws and backplate and it should be sorted.Hope this helps

My neff b1421 does not heat up and has left a "chalky dust" substance in the oven?
The dust is from where the ring element has blown. remove the back panel 4-6 torx 20 screws and the blow on the element should be pretty obvious, part no is 499003. can be replace from inside the unit, one screw on the right of the ring and two on the holding bracket. Obviously, isolate from mains, be careful when you remove the element at the bracket side, so as not to let the connection wires drop into the back cavity or you will have to remove the whole oven and back of the oven to retrieve them. One tag on each prong of the element (doesn't matter which way round they go)Best of luck

Oven is beeping and showing f1
Hello Charlie,The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced GENE

I am trying to replace
A common problem with this manufacturer I'm afraid. The screw thread of the glass almost welds itself to the metal casing it screws into.
It will turn and you can remove it however, the easiest way is to get leverage on the glass. This is best done by using a Baby Boa Strap Wrench, which you can pick up for a few pounds in a DIY store. I have removed many apparantly stuck round glass oven lamp covers in this way.

Oven door does not close properly
When you say "oven door does not close properly", do you mean that it closes but not tightly against the rubber seal on the oven cavity?
Or is it some other closing problem?
If it is the former, then it is a sign of the door hinge springs wearing out. The solution to this is to replace both hinges on the offending door.

Think oven getting too hot
Get a cheap oven thermometer at your grocery store and check the temp before you put a cake in. Regardless of the kind of oven, this is the best way to be sure your temperature is correct before baking. I use one every time I bake, and I never have issues due to incorrect temp. I might have issues due to OTHER screw ups on my part, but it's not because the temp is wrong. You can buy an oven thermometer for a few dollars.

I need to remove the control panel to replace the
HI
you dont need to remove panel to replace, it literally just pulls out from the front as a complete assembly you may find using the edge of a teaspoon helps to draw it forward without marking the steel use the curved bowl of the spoon against the steel.
if the knob is damaged from heat escaping (melted) make sure you grill with the door closed.

Hi when the oven was switched on,during the
The oven element has shorted out.
You need to fit a new element.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
A very straightforward job to do.

Do all neff oven & hobs have to wired in using
If it is a single oven on it's own then it can be used from a 13 amp plug and socket, the same with the hob, if it is seperate from the oven it can be used from a 13 amp socket.
If it is a combined unit, then it will have to be hard wired to a seperate circuit using 6mm twin and earth cable, and fused on it's own circuit.
