The only solution I've found for this - and it works well - is to purchase Vuescan software which bypasses the twain system and finds and operates your scanner directly. Here's the link: http://www.hamrick.com/

There is no official driver for Windows Vista for Acer 620U.

try this one ..it apear on a search for vista comp. driver and ..indeed does not specify that its for xp ....it says just windows...
a second solution on vista is to install a Everest ultimate with license or at least a trial ...and for vista and windows & usually this programs find drivers for you ...just right click on device and update driver
