Water in dishwasher, will not pump out. Noise
Hi
Dishwasher not
draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or
drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present.
If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove
the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then
the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain
filter and drain pump. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump
impeller.
Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that
heating element doesn't overheat.
Hope this helps... Please post back for any
further assistance.

Water stays in dishwasher goes through cycle but
Yes there are brushes in dishwasher motors it sounds like they are either worn out or stuck try tapping motor with the wooden end of a hammer at the rear of motor as brushes clog up as they wear hope this helps
Dirty glasses
there is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. it actually filters the water going into your dishes. the dishes look dirty because your water has a lot of calcium and magnesium in it making them appear cloudy or dirty. the dishwasher filter reduces those minerals and my dishes look perfect now. no more dirty and grimy looking dishes. i also dont waste time washing them by hand before and after the dishwasher. hahaha you can get it at
www.dishwasherfilter.com. use code DFMTEN and you will get 10% off. it fits right under your sink and is very affordable. you will be glad you bought this product. thanks
Hi there, I have a
You know, I think the best thing to do would be to replace the dishwasher. It is ten years old and a new one would be more energy efficient and you would save money in the long run.
Water is not draining
First, Is any water draining? If yes, look for restrictions or siphoning back into the machine. Hair and paper are common restrictions on the anti-siphon/overflow device. It's' on the sink top. Remove the cap, take a long nose pliers to remove the inner top plastic piece. Remove the junk - hair, paper, etc. Put a inverted cup and run the drain cycle. Move junk and water will come out. Re- assemble. Also check for kinks in the drain hose(s). Also clean out the filter and screen in the dishwasher. Watch out for broken glass. If new garbage disposer, make sure the knock out plug was remove -- should see water enter from the dishwasher. If you don't have an anti-siphon device, get one. Otherwise drain water will back into the dishwasher.
No water getting into dishwasher
Has it pumped all the water out as impeller can get trapped? in the case ther is a complex plastic eater control system that gets blocked in the corner, electric water valve, sump on bottom has water in it, good look
I have a tricity bendix
Possible that the INLET valve is faulty /clogged or there is no voltage to switch ON the inlet valve.
So measure the voltage at the inlet valve, also check if the inlet filter is clogged.
Check the water pressure at the inlet to confirm, remove the line from the inlet valve and confirm the flow when activated.

No. You need to remove the perforated floor of the machine to access the heater element, and you need to remove the rear cover to disconnect the wires. Once you have access to these points the job is actually very easy. Make sure that the power cord is removed from the wall socket before attempting any work on the machine.
