You machine probably thinks it has more than one of the same colour installed. Take them all out and re-install one at a time allowing the machine to reset between each . If it doesn't fix the problem you will find out which cartridge is at fault and replace it.

Here is a possible solution.
Open 'Printers and Faxes' and right-click your printer. Select 'Properties' from the menu.


Select Paper/Quality tab. And from the 'Paper Source' select 'Auto feeder' or 'Auto' if 'Manual feed' is selected.


If Manual feed is selected, that means the printer is waiting for you to insert a paper for each page to print. That is why you get only the first page printed.

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken . Sometimes it is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the PC command or can be an issue with ink drying or poor ink cartridge contacts. Sometimes the power supply unit must be checked as a poor SMPS unit can deliver low voltage and cause issues to the printer function. Check all the leads and connections of the mother board , the tags to the ink cartridge. Also check the mechanical settings of the ink cartridge , if jammed or tight remove motor and manually free the drive before it is set back.

Try printing in better print quality.. i.e. "Best" quality. I guess you are printing in Normal quality. This usually happens when there's problem with Ink Cartridge(s). Perhaps, the ink is finishing or the cartridge is dying or there's air bubbles inside the cartridge(s).

I would recommend you to try with another working or new cartridge (s).

This is because the colour catridge might have finished.
for black and whicte printing you have separate catridge.colour catrige is a tri colour catridge which contains three colous in it.The blue colour might have finished. So please change your colour catrige and it wil ok.

Open the printers program and access the help page for color ink. Most likely it is low or out and it will tell you what percentage of ink that will be left

Usage of compatible ink and leave the printer idle too long may cause printhead clogging
What should you do if you get this problem. Relax; you may recover the printhead by unclogging it. Follow these steps to unclog the printhead

1. Right click in the printer driver name
2. Select Properties menu
3. Click Maintenance tab
4. Click on cleaning sign for regular cleaning. Perform this up to 3 times.
5. If this does not work, perform Deep Cleaning

And if that not work

Some times it needs a good clean up but this is up to you if you want to do this,
But after you done this prime the printer so it gets the inks back in the heads, it may take a little time for the inks to work.

There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.

Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them,
It worth a try it worked for me more than ones.

Go to0 the start menu, select "printers and devices"
select your printer, select printer preferences,
and change the setting from the menus.

1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal.

According to Canon 7 orange flashes indicates a print head fault. Solution they recommend is to take it to one of their service agents. Problem is that replacement print heads are not cheap and it is usually more economical to replace the printer. You could try taking the print head to a cartridge refiller and have it professionally cleaned (cost you nothing or next to nothing) and see if that solves the problem.

pure sine wave will be the best option ,but note it is not very possible to get a pure sine wave type

The problem could be that you would not have properly installed the Cartridge into the Printer. Please remove the Cartridge, clean it with a Plain cloth and reinstall it again. Don't forget to check if the cartridge is installed correctly before you turn on the Printer. Once you do this process, try to print your document. Hope this time the Print will come. Else the Flexi PCB, which connects the Cartridge holder & the Processor board of your printer could be damaged. In that case you may have to take your printer to a authorized service station for servicing the Printer.
