How do you clean the print head?
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages,then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

We must not rub it with any materials, so its head were very sensitive. There is no other way to solve your problem without Changing its head..... good luck
The Ink Waste Absorber pads
Hi! here your solution... to solve your printer problem follow the instruction step by step...
1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal. good luck

Probably your waste ink counter. Should be cleaned or replaced before resetting but usually you can get away with resetting once.
1. Start with printer OFF
2. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
3. Release RESUME
4. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.
6. Select functions below with RESUME, execute with POWER
0 presses - green light - Test Print (exit service for i960)
1 press - orange light - EEPROM info print
2 presses - green light - EEPROM initialise
3 presses - orange light - reset waste ink counter.
My printer won't print black
If you had not replace your black cartridge with a new one it is possible that the ink is empty.or the ink head is clogged.dip the printhead into a warm water do not emerge just the print head then wipe it with a tissue to dry repeat until the ink is ok..
Cannon i860 giving error saying

2: Open door and hold power button.

4: Close door, then release power button

Used ink tank is full. i removed and cleaned
This will reset the error code, but the absorber is still full of ink and will overflow ruining furniture, and possibly the printer. I don't know how you got that code sequence or why you would be that careless to give it out in a public forum.
My canon i860 will not
try going to maintenance and do deep cleaning if this does not work just pm me and we can go virtual and ill do it myself for you
My printer will not print. Light is flashing
Hi. What did you do before it happens?
Please try this manual resetting of the printer.
Remove the USB cable into the printer and leave the printer on.
Remove all the cartridges.
Close the cartridge door and wait for the INSERT INK MESSAGE to appear.
Disconnect the power cable and from the power source supply.
Move the carriage using your hand from the original position to the other side of the printer and then move it back to original position. Wait for couple of minutes
Reconnect power cord and turn on the printer.
Return all the ink cartridges and close the door. Wait for the calibration process.
Print the test page to check if it working.
Reconnect the USB cable and try to print again.

If not try to clean the print head using a clean cloth with rubbing alcohol and then rub the print head into a plain paper with alcohol.
My printer won't print problem says paper
Please the paper you bought is is not the recomendation might for the printer. We have 60,65,70,80 gram tickness. So the recomened one for the printer. Please vote me.

Sounds like one of your print heads might either be plugged or not working any more. Try removing the cartridges and cleaning the print heads with a Qtip (with isopropyl alcohol), or try a print head cleaning from the printer settings menu in Windows.
