Cannot get to lower case and some keys not typing
Well, you can take a keyboard apart and clean every key with alcohol and a q-tip. just be careful not to lose any of the springs, it probably has some sticky drink spilled in it. Or you can pick up a cheap keyboard at a thrift shop, about $1 to $2.

Hi...
if this problem occurs, the main topic is the RAM which is still beeping, so you need to remove the RAM first after that, you should clean the dust in around the RAM, Since you've already done cleaning, just reinsert the RAM to their socket, or else try the another socket, after youve reinsert the RAM, try to turn on your computer, if the same things happen the RAM have defect, so you need to replace the RAM.
Hope it may helpful for you.

Scrambled keyboard
Have you tried cleaning and reseating the zif connector that connects the keyboard to the motherboard? Depending on how many cats and kids bang on the laptop, that can cause a problem. Another possibility is using an external keyboard and see if the same thing happens. If so, look to see if a keyboard program of some sort is running. If the external keyboard works fine, then you will need to replace the internal one, or just continue using the external one.
