Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC14 All Floors. Due to the design of the cleaner's brush control system, the clutch should only be serviced by an engineer.
To check everything is correct with your machine, try switching the cleaner on and reclining it into the vacuuming position - make sure the brush control is set to 'Carpets'. If the brushbar is not rotating, please follow the quick troubleshooting steps shown in our online support guide linked below. Please note, the brushbar will never rotate when the cleaner is
standing upright, or if you have the brush control set to 'Hard Floors'.
http://www.dyson.com/support/help.asp?article=668&product=DC14-ALLFLOORS_USThis should allow you to resolve your issue without further assistance. However, if you've followed the steps shown in the support guide and are still concerned, please call us free on 08002980298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US). One of our experts will be happy to run through some troubleshooting over the phone with you to establish the cause of the issue, and will be able to recommend the best course of action.
Kind regards,
Jack
