How can I hook up my cerwin Vega ht 10d subwoofer to my computer surround system

You'll need some adapter cables. I would probably try a Y cable in each front speaker line, then connect the pair from the left channel to the "L" binding posts on the back of the Sub. Same for the right. Not sure of the configuration of your existing surround system. Essentially, you want to "Y" the left and right channels wherever you can get a hold of them and connect each to the back of the sub.

I want to replace the capacitors on my Cerwin vega D5 speakers but have never done it before. I could help with parts and procedures. Thank you for your time, Rob

Well it is not an easy task to tweak crossover. If you just change capacitors,it could bring some advantages put probably will bring in the same time more unpleasant sound. If the old capacitor is MKT one then the new one should be MKT as well - if not you might get some frequences very loud and so unpleasant sound.MKP capacitoprs have very low resistance but mind the fact that the whole crossover was projected to use MKT capacitors. The same is for bas area - change electrolityc c with the same type but of good quolity - Mundorf maybe

What is the voltage and wattage of the Cerwin Vega E-715 speaker fuse?

Speaker fuses are rated in Amps. If you cant find the specs on your speaker via google, (I couldn't find anything on the fuse.) start with a 2 Amp 'slow-blow' fuse. That should work at low to medium volumes. If you find it blows at low volumes, move up to a 4 or 5 Amp fuse. E-715 is a big speaker, (handles 400W!) so starting at 2 amps should be pretty safe.

Do I need an amp as it only has regular speaker wire connections?

i believe you have a built in amp in receiver, so just do not push it, and its fine.
