Printer:Z815 problem loading paper, how far

  • Try not to overload the feeder with sheets of paper.
  • Rebrick your printer by pulling out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds. This will reset your printer.

Is there a drive for x1200 windows 7

There isn't a Windows 7 specific driver for this model, but the Windows XP driver should work for you. You can find it at the following link:

Driver for win 7

The Manufacturer Webpage says that you must use the windows vista drive in Windows 7

This is the link for the Vista driver 32 bits. If you have 64 bits, tell me and I will send you the link for 64 bits.

I can not install lexmark driver for win 7, namely

Unplug the Lexmark Z815 printer from pc, then uninstall the driver by following the steps in this article at http://bit.ly/8ZH59T. After rebooting pc, reinstall the driver. Follow the instructions in the software. Thank you for choosing Lexmark.

I have a lexmark z815 printer connected via usb to

the easy way out it is to upgrade the desktop to windows xp....I believe that no matter how week is the desktop ..xp it will install on it ...I installed once on a P3 with only 128 M ram and a 1200 CPU...so ..if you have at least 256M ram it will work and there is no need to loose any data either cause you can move them into another partition and format only C ...

Make sure you install the printer drivers before connecting the printer. It also might be a cord or port problem-try a different cable and/or different usb port.

Wifi light is orange

The colors of the WiFi indicator light show the network status of the printer.
  • Off means one of the following:
    • The printer is turned off or is powering up.
    • The printer is not connected to a wireless network and in power saver mode. In power saver mode, the power light pulses on and off.
    • The printer is connected to an ethernet network. Refer to the Quick Reference Guide to find out if your printer has ethernet capability.
  • Solid orange means one of the following:
    • The printer has not yet been configured for a wireless network.
    • The printer is configured for an ad hoc connection, but it is not currently communicating with another ad hoc device.
  • Blinking orange on the WiFi light means one of the following:
    • The printer is out of the range of the wireless access point (wireless router).
    • The printer is trying to communicate with the wireless access point but the wireless point is turned off or not working properly.
    • Either the configured printer of the wireless access point has been turned off and back on, or the printer is trying to establish communications with the network.
    • The wireless settings of the printer may no longer be valid.
  • Green means that the printer is connected to a wireless network and is ready for use.
