Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite Keyboard/Mouse 2090265223 Questions & Answers
I have a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse.
I must admit, I have never seen them sell that seperately. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I doubt you will find what you are looking for. You could try something like e-bay but my worry is that unless it is the same model keyboard/mouse - then the frequency of the receiver might be different and you will waste you money buying the receiver alone.

My wireless mouse is not detected
Hi and welcome to FixYa!
As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you reinstall the motherboard and bluetooth driver. By doing so, the wireless mouse can work.
If the problem still persists then the problem will be on the mouse itself. You will need to have it replaced even it's new for it can be a factory defect.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have a microsoft model 1011 wireless keyboard
I find alot of wireless microsoft and logitech keyboards at thrift stores, also mice. Every microsoft keyboard I bought works with my microsoft receiver. Same with logitech. Try looking in the thrift stores for your receiver, or go on ebay. Both will have great deals. I buy keyboards for 5 and 6 dollars!

I have an hp touchsmart desktop computer. However,
If it is within warranty, u can call up the tech support and they will replace it.
If it i snot within the warranty period, u will have to get the whole unit including the USB receiver, wireless keybosrd and the wireless mouse.

Programing
Hi!
First install the driver for your wireless keyboard. Then connect the USB for your wireless. Make sure that you already have batteries in your keyboard and mouse or in other cases fully charged if rechargeable. Wait for it to be detected by windows. Once detected, on the USB press the connect button then followed by the connect button on the keyboard then the connect button on the mouse. Then that is supposed to work already. Hope this helps.

I spilled water on my MS wireless multimedia
This depends on how good you are at opening your keyboard. Inside the keyboard is a thin plastic film that has contacts for the keyboard to make contact with. They are very sensitive to water. If you can take the keyboard apart carefully and can get to the plastic file and make sure its dry. (which i am guess its still got water in it cause they usually do) Then you can save your keyboard. Other wise sorry buy another one. The way i look at it is you are probabley going to be buying a new one anways what have you got to lose :)
I had the same issuse i got all keys working again except my f3 button. and i use it all the time so i adventually had to buy another keyboard. However if you like to take things apart :) now is a good time.
Hope this helps thanks
Steven.

MY CORDLESS LOGITECH KEYBOARD IS NOT WORKING AFTER
That is strange; first off I'm not trying to suggest the obvious but check that the batteries are in fact good as onece in a while you can get a dud battery. Next check that battery contacts and make sure the batteries are in according to their polarity.
Try re-plugging the receiver into the USB slot of the computer.
Try rebooting the computer.
Finally remove and replace the batteries again.
As long as the batteries are good, the driver is properly installed in the computer and the keyboard is turned on it should work immediately. Other then the above it could be a driver conflict (very rare) or a hardware failure.
Let me know how this works out,
Thank you,

I have microsoft wireless desktop elite keyboard
You may need a software update. Try pulling up windows update and running it. The program should be auto recognizing the keyboard but if not you may have to go to the manufacturers web sire and manually install the software.

HI:
I've got model #1011 and
There should be a small red "connect" button on the bottom of the mouse and keyboard.. Hit them both a few times.. There should also be connect button on top of the singal sender.. Hit that a few times..
If that does not help - while the computer is on - unplug the usb wire and plug it back in then restart the computer.. That will sometimes "un-stick" the problem..
If that does not work - the signal sender could be failing..
Have a great day !
