depends on the setup of the network for one. if it just simple setup then allows sharing of files, a single internet connection, some standalone capability for any problems if the computers get virus infection, internal emails/memos and some network back ups. downside software licence for many separate computers.server based. the computers can access one source for information. allowing users to log in and get their files from any machine. easy backups, licensing can work out cheaper for many machines. very easy to share information. however vulnerable to viruses, can be expensive to maintain if external company setup. servers can be expensive to buy and everyone has a problem if the network crashes, often no one can use the computers if not working.networking is generally a positive thing and id recommend it.hope this helps

You need to connect the ethernet cable to the netgear on the special port ment for the modem.



Its the one next to the power plug as you see its separate from the other ones. the 4 that are together so to say are for computers and other devices.

Reconnect your cables and hopefully that will solve the issue, if it does not then you might need to configure or setup the router.

If the router is still functioning properly, you can access the router through its web interface. I never use the CD that is packaged with the router. It just gets in the way most of the time.

There are several ways to get Visio for cheap. If you are a student, there are discounted versions available online and in stores. Also, you can check with your school for even cheaper options sometimes. Try the university bookstore if available. Or a Computer Science department maybe.

This fault / alarm / warning is not listed anywhere and the company is no longer in business. Turn over the console and see if there is a door for a back up battery. It may be warning that it is running out. Do the same with the main control unit.
