When was the last time the phone worked properly?Any other information you can supply about your VoIp setup would help us troubleshoot the power issue with your phone.
Calls ringing in on a line already in use
You need to change the 'number of call before engaged' value in the phone configuration to 1 for each of the lines... that way the line will be engaged and the next line will be used.
Message Indicator light displayed when there is no message
Don't know if you configured your CM server or not but there are two numbers that control the MWI. One number activates the lamp and the other turns it off. This is configured when you configure the system so I can't tell you what your numbers are. If you're using CM and not CME it's under the voice mail tab. Simply dial the number that turns the lamp off from the phones in question.
Oh and next time if you have an issue try restarting the CM service first instead of rebooting the box.
Is there an easy solution to repair noisy handsets
The Cisco handsets will not come apart easily, and chances are you will snap the plastic on the first few you try. Replacement handsets are however reasonably priced, and then you've got a brand new one. We have these available for purchase at Idacom.
