Normal 0 The best thing to do is to go to the free palm chat service they offer. I have used this and it worked good for me. Here is a link to the free chat service. Here is a link for the software you need. Download it to your desktop and then do a hotsync to your palm. Best wishes. If this doesn't help the second link is for the free palm chat feature. Scroll to the bottom where it says Palm chat and then click on the link that says chat now. Best wishes.

First do a hotsync. That should then show both names. Then just select the name to install stuff to on quick install.

You should be able to delete the user you don't want from the deskto

Ok, do a hard reset in you pda, in your PC, using you palm d., open you user files, export your adresses and memos; then create a new user and import all this data and do a hotsync

You may create new profile and test again. It may resolve the issue

The top transparent digitizer is defective and needs to be replaced.

You can find digitizer parts in ebay or other on-line companies, at reasonable prices.

Regarding the labor cost, depending of the repair shop you choose, it may be cheap or expensive.

Also, if you have minimum experience and skills in fixing electronics, you can try it. really is not so difficult, and minimum set of tools are needed for it

Take the back plate off carefully from the side or slide it up or out

As far as I know, the general tungsten e2 program works on most. It can be purchased from palm. Now I wish I could sell mine

Try this-

Open up your Device Manager.

In Xp I right click on My Computer and go to Properties.
In the window that pops up, go to Hardware, then Device Manager.

Connect your Palm and try syncing, at the bottom a Yellow Triangle with an exclamation point ! may appear. If it does, double click it.

You will need to reinstall the drivers.

If you have your T2 connected via cradle/cable, then there really should be no problem. Just make sure your host settings are set identically to your pc's IP info/dial up or broadband service info. If you're trying to connect wireless, you need to have wireless service in order to connect. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint are a few good wireless providers. Good luck!

Try using a different stylist. They are sold at office depot, etc. If that does not work, your digitizer may be damaged or scratched to the point where the digitizer is only recognizing a small portion of your screen. If that is the case, you need to simply replace the digitizer. It's not that expensive and they can be repaired at renew electronics. Good luck!

CPR is a cell phone repair center, there website is pcsrepair.com they can replace that screen for you and if you call them they will give you a fast qoute.

you need to have pocketmirro installed in your desktop in order to sycn with your outlook..

Just put palm pilot instructions into google, preferably with your pilots model number and it'll take you to the Palm Piolt site where you can download a pdf of the relevant manual. Its easier to do it this way than me explain, besides you can then work through it at your own speed. Hope this helps. Happy Christmas
