If the espresso coffee outputs too much water and doesn't stop, there is an easy fix. The quantity adjustment for the machine is off. After looking through the user manual, I found out that you could press and hold the espresso button, and then follow the on-screen instructions where you can specify the quantity poured.

These machines, especially Miele need dealer service about every 6 to 9 months depending on use. Of course they don't tell you that when you buy one. The combination of heat, boiling water, limescale and neoprene sealing O-rings are not a good combination, plus the mechanical side of the brewing operation.

If your Miele Fashion Master B2826 is not producing steam despite powering on, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check the water level: Ensure that there is sufficient water in the water tank. If the tank is empty or below the minimum level, refill it with clean water and ensure it is securely placed in the machine.
2. Clean the steam vents: Over time, mineral deposits and debris can accumulate in the steam vents, hindering the flow of steam. Use a small brush or a pin to gently clean the steam vents and remove any obstructions.
3. Descale the appliance: If the steam vents are heavily clogged, it may be necessary to descale the appliance. Follow the instructions provided in the user manual for descaling the Miele Fashion Master. Descaling helps remove mineral deposits and can improve steam production.
4. Check the steam settings: Verify that the steam settings on the appliance are correctly adjusted. Ensure that the steam intensity and temperature settings are appropriate for your needs. Consult the user manual for guidance on adjusting the steam settings.
5. Inspect the steam hose and connections: Check the steam hose and its connections for any signs of damage or blockage. Make sure the hose is properly connected to the appliance and that there are no kinks or bends that could obstruct steam flow. If necessary, clean or replace the steam hose.
6. Perform a factory reset: Try performing a factory reset on the Miele Fashion Master. This can help reset any settings or configurations that may be causing the issue. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your Miele Fashion Master B2826 is still not producing steam, it is recommended to contact Miele customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance. They will have specific knowledge and expertise to diagnose and address the problem with your appliance.
Please note that when working with steam appliances, it is important to exercise caution as they involve high temperatures and pressure. Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions and prioritize your safety.
When was it last serviced by the local dealer? The machines need servicing at least once a year. There are a lot of O-rings that need replacing, plus parts get sticky and pipes get blocked.
