Try getting a can of compressed air and clean out the keyboard. Many times crumbs get in there and get stuck. you can get a can from Walmart, Staples, almost anywhere. Clean it out first. if this fails a key board is easy to instal and you can get a replacement for around $20 or less on ebay.

Toshiba tecra problem:
This indicates you may be experiencing a pretty severe hard drive failure. I would recommend replacing your hard drive ASAP, and in the meantime, use your Windows OS disk to repair the windows installation to access your system again. No worries, done properly this process does not erase your files, only your system files that Windows uses to function.
Good Luck
Jesse
Unable to open pages...wireless connection is enabled
Windows WiFi Fix,
Windows Zero Wireless Configuration is one of the best programs to run a WiFi in Windows XP or Vista. Most of the other software packages that come with the different adapters have been poor at best in keeping a connection through Windows. Here is the best guide to get you back up and connected.
Windows XP:
Click Start
Right click on My Computer
When a window pops up click on properties
Click on the Hardware tab
Click Device Manager
Click the [+] next to Network Adapters
Find your wireless card and right click on it.
Click Disable
Windows may warn you that disabling the device may make it stop functioning.
Continue disabling the device.
Wait 30 seconds or so.
Right click on your wireless again and click Enable.
Exit the device manager.
Reconnect to your router.
You should now be able to connect to the internet.
Windows Vista:
Click Start Logo
Right Click Computer
Click Device Manager
Windows will ask you about opening Device Manager Click Continue
Click the [+] next to Network Adapters
Find your wireless card and right click on it.
Click Disable
Windows may warn you that disabling the device may make it stop functioning.
Continue disabling the device.
Wait 30 seconds or so.
Right click on your wireless again and click Enable.
Exit the device manager.
Reconnect to your router.
You should now be able to connect to the internet.
No audio sound on my laptop
Check whether appropriate sound drivers installed in device manager. If installed check if volume is muted in taskbar.
Toshiba t900 will not turn on or charge
Leave the battery disconnected and only hook up the ac adapter. See if you can get the laptop to turn on and get video. If you can then that means either the battery is bad or the charge is so low on the battery it can't turn on the laptop. If the battery is bad then you would have to replace it.
If you still can't get the power on then check the ac adapter to make sure the green light is on. This will let you know the AC Adapter is working properly. if the light is on then the adapter is good, if the green light is not on the adapter then its bad and would need to be replaced.
If after these steps you still can't get power to the laptop then that means the motherboard is bad and would need to be replaced.
