You need to reset the cisco E3000 router back to factory defaults; This will allow you to login to the router and set it up again as if it is being setup for the first time.

Most routers have a "reset" button usually requiring a pen or a paper clip to access and press the button. Usually holding this button down for about 30 seconds will reset the router to default settings.

Then you will need to use the instructions manual to setup the router again. This will allow you to set the wireless password again to gain access to the wireless connection again.

If you don't have the instruction manual, usually you can download it from the manufacturer's website for the respective router. In your case the Cisco E3000.

Hope this helps.

Unless you have a real need to update the BIOS firmware it's not really worth the risk or trouble. Sometimes a BIOS update would allow you to install bigger RAM or newer CPU or be more compatible with say Windows 7. Otherwise don't bother.

Hi Ruth, right click on the screen in an open area and select properties.
In the dialogue window that opens, select the settings tab listed across the top.
Then in that settings tab go to the resolution bar and slide it so the numbers go lower that will increase the size of the screen display items. Hope this is what you are looking for.
Happy New Year
