How to remove cmos battery T420
The cmos battery is just under the keyboard. Release screw (1) of the keyboard is beside the ram slots underneath. So remove the ram cover first. Good luck!

Complete memory reset by hand on Lenovo T420
I am not sure I understand. The RAM of a computer is cleared shortly
after the computer is turned off. It is automatically reset, cleared. While a computer is running, application programs are loaded in RAM and unloaded when they finish.
Slow to load applications

How can i replace a motherbaord
I replaced the motherboard on my HP laptop. I downloaded a manual from hp web site. No easy job had to take completely apart. I had about 8 different cups to put the different size and length screws in. It was no easy job but it worked. Computer store wanted $375 to do it. I purchased the board on EBAY GOOD LUCK
