Format harddrive

What OS are you using? In Windows, go to the disk management utility and see if the disk is listed. (In Win 7, this is Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Create and format hard disk partitions.) For XP and Vista, the directions are similar but do differ a bit. Look at the bottom of the window, to see the list of disks. (Disk 0 is your main hard disk; do not reformat this by accident.) Assuming the disc is correctly connected to the enclosure and is seen by the computer, you should see it listed as a removable drive. Note: you may need to change the USB port. The MX100 is an enclosure for 3.5" hard disks and needs the AC cord plugged in as well. You may want to connect and turn on the enclosure when the computer is off, then turn it on. Then turn on the computer. This will hopefully allow the USB drivers to note the new device. For the Mac OS, look for the Disk Utility. If you still don't see the drive, check that the cover (and plugs) are completely seated. (Turn off the enclosure first.) Try the hard disk in another enclosure or a USB/SATA hard drive adapter. (If you have a desktop with a free SATA data port and power connector, try connecting the disk directly to the computer. (You need to determine if the enclosure is faulty or the disk itself is bad.) I hope this helps. Please add a comment with your OS and if you see the disk in the disk management utility, if you need additional assistance.Cindy Wells (This enclosure will work with older versions of Windows, back to Win98Se. However, I don't believe all of those versions came with disc formatting utilities. In that case, you would need a third-party partitioning software (Partition Magic, Paragon Partition Manager). If this disk was in another computer and you want to save the data, try copying the data before reformatting. This may be easier to do with the USB/SATA adapter or the direct connection to the motherboard of a desktop.)

HOW TO FIX ANTEC AR-352

Unfortunately, there are not many parts available off the shelf to repair these. It would be simpler to get a power supply with a greater wattage rating than the one you have now.

Single beep every 3-5 minutes. What is it?

Look at event log of Windows under management for any errors. Also run speedfan and check out your temps to make sure that its not a temp alarm for the CPU etc.

Hi, in Antec 300watt power supply there is 3 cables or input or current 220volt. The cables are Black, Green and white. Which one is earth, which on is live(positive) and which one is negative?

For 120 volt operation use black for the hot, White for the natural, Green for earth ground. For 240 volt operation use; Black and White for the 240 volt and Green for earth ground. Black is generally designated as the "Hot" or "positive" . You must make sure the switch on the power supply is set for the voltage you are using. ie: 120/240

Mean red light

not enough power in power supply perhaps.reset the cmos by removing battery (small one on motherboard, size of a quarter., Connect the two pins together for 10 seconds where the battery goes, this resets most cmos passwords and back to factory.make sure is all unplugged and hold power down to drain from capacitors first.remove all usb stuff and try to reboot before doing this, sorry is step 3, 2 1...Get the CMOS bios onto a flashdrive and hold down fn and F1 while rebooting may have to hold for 10 mins.remove ram and check power supply specs on the side of it and see how many watts is output - check youtube for proper reset procedure as this I am only vague about. Note that there are like 22 pins and 24 pins power supply units.a key may be stuck on the keyboard or a cable iis not properly in.it's slot.usually the amount of beeps and flashes are an indicator of the problem.
