HP probook 4420s stuck on mute
Look on you system at the keyboard and you will find a key that toggles the mute if he pressed it. It will toggle between on and off. Normally the mute key or button will look like a megaphone and if it is muted it will have an x over it. Press it to unmute it. Sometimes if it is a key, you might have to press the FN, CTRL or ALT key while you press and hold the key that toggles the mute. Another way to remove the mute is to Double Click on the megaphone if you see it at the bottom right near the time. This will bring up the volume control and you just remove the check mark from any that is muted. Also you can click Start/Control Panel look for volume controls that might be muted and remove the check mark on mute. Also click Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Volume Control and remove the check mark on muted items.
Can't display with my laptop using VGA to 3RCA cable
Can't display where on another monitor or tv? Did you reboot the computer after plugging in the VGA Cable. Sometimes you have to hit the FN Function Key + F1 thru F12 to get the image to display. The correct F1 thru F12 key will have CRT/LCD on it or it might have the icon of a display. Press and hold the FN function key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 Key.
HP G72-253NR Laptop - Using an External Keyboard
I think you have a broken USB keyboard or USB port. Simply plugging in the keyboard should be enough to make it work. First try the keyboard in a different USB port. Test the caps lock to see if the LED goes on and off. Also try a different keyboard and also test it in a different computer.
