The firmware download utility program comes on the CD supplied with the printer. Use this to download the firmware file to the printer. Check on the zebra website for the latest firmware file. (You should be able to download the Download utility program from the website also. (Steady red may indicate that the printer is set to the incorrect operating mode. Check that you have the correct setting in your printer driver - Thermal Transfer if you use a ribbon, Direct Thermal if not) Easiest way to check is to insert a ribbon and see if printer works)
Try to calibrate the label length.
with the feed button pressed switch on the printer.
Keep the button pressed until you have Seven flash of the green led and release the button.
The printer will do a manul callibration.
After that when you press the feed button it should feed one label
The Zebra ZP 550 will work with the GK 420t driver which is free for download at zebra.com. After installing it restart shiprush and your zebra printer will show up in your printer selection menu.
