Motherboard Packard Bell EasyNote R6512

38ae9ee.jpg Hi Domingos,
Don't worry for your English, I'm french and mine is not so good...

The first component seems to be a diode : what is its indication near it on the mobo ("Dxxx" or "PDxxx" or what else) ? Check its resistance in both direction.
I don't recognize any fuse, and the orther picture is too far (components are too small), but you should look for indication like "Fxxx" or "PFxxx" or "FUxxx". Sometimes, fuses look like green resistor (flat and rectangular) with a cross on it like X. Just behind the diode it's a resistor because there is "R010" on it. However, check its resistance to be sure it isn't grilled.
When you put the power on the mobo, do you find voltage beetwin ground and positive pole of components ?
May be you could resend picture of the other side but nearer.
Hoping this help you...
FM.

I would be suprised if you are using WEP. Most modern networks use either WPA or WPA2(which the DS does not support unfortunately) as WEP is older and insecure.

My suggestion would be to contact your parents or whoever manages your network and ask them how your network is configured.

If your onboard video isn't working your only option might be to install a video card. You can also try checking if there any bios updates for your motherboard.

The screen of my laptop comes up with squares and small circles on reboot

Normally I would say this was a driver issue, however ,since you reformatted and reloaded your op system and it still does the same, I'm going to say it's either the inverter or the screen. Check the connections to make sure they haven't worked loose.

Please read everything on the link.
If this is too tough to fix you're self. I suggest you take it to a pro. At least you'll all ready know what needs fixed.

Good Luck!

Have you tried using f8 during bootup and starting in safe mode? If not, once inside windows in safe mode you can adjust video settings, ect. Also, you can use system restore and go back to a point when things worked.

Since you forgot the password best thing to do is make the cmos forget it. The way to do this is remove the cmos battery. Take it out for several hours then put it back in. This will reset the cmos and you should gain access.
