Do you have them connected to the sub? Those satellite speakers pick up the fainter sounds and work best in movies with 5.1 surround sound. Make sure they are behind the primary listening position. And try them with a 5.1 surround movie. If all speakers are up front switch to front listen mode. Good luck.

it may not be speaker that is the problem, but the firmware tha needs to be upgraded.

Just unplug the TV from the power outlet and hold down the power button on the side of the TV for 15 seconds. Doing this drains residual power and can clear up odd issues. Then plug the TV back in and power it on. Test the remote again to see if it's working.Mar 10, 2015

Try to turn the TV off and on by removing the power plug. Leave the plug out for at least one hour and then try again.

Are you sure the Sub has power and is working? If the sub isn't working, try re-linking it with the sound bar.

The 2017 model Vizio SB3621 has Bluetooth connectivity. i've seen earlier models also with Bluetooth so pretty sure the answer is yes.

I would have thought that without the other speakers all you would get is just a lot of bass, the phones own speakers would not really be a match for the sub. Assuming the phone has a sub-woofer socket!
