How can i get the date and time to show up on my pictures on my Fine Pix S2950?
The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use an photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.

Not if you want to risk damaging your camera further, no. The metal casing around the lens is very rigid and solid, only an impact or great force could dent it (which is the case when you dropped it,) so straightening it out would be quite impossible. FUJIFILM has a great customer service so just contact them via their website (
http://www.fujifilmusa.com/support/ServiceSupportContact.do) and they'll replace the dented metal lens casing.
Good luck.
I just bought a Fujifilm Finepix HS10 and think that the Aperture doesn't work. When I turn the Aperture ring nothing Happens.
The Fujifilm Finepix HS10 camera features a manual aperture ring on the lens barrel. If you're experiencing issues with the aperture not functioning when you turn the ring, there are a few potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the camera mode: Ensure that the camera is set to Manual (M) mode or Aperture Priority (A) mode. In these modes, you should have control over the aperture settings. If the camera is in a different mode, switch to M or A mode to enable manual aperture control.
- Enable aperture ring control: Some cameras have a setting that allows you to enable or disable the use of the aperture ring on the lens. Check the camera menu or settings to ensure that the aperture ring control is enabled. If it's disabled, enable it to regain control over the aperture.
- Ensure the lens is properly mounted: Check if the lens is securely mounted to the camera body. If the lens is not properly attached, it may result in the aperture ring not functioning. Remove the lens and then carefully reattach it, ensuring it clicks into place.
- Clean the electrical contacts: Dust or debris on the lens contacts or camera contacts can sometimes interfere with communication between the camera and lens. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the contacts on both the lens and camera body. This can help ensure proper electrical connections.
- Update the camera firmware: Visit the Fujifilm support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your Finepix HS10 camera. Updating the camera's firmware can address potential bugs or issues that may affect the aperture functionality. Follow the instructions provided by Fujifilm to update the firmware if necessary.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the aperture ring still does not function as expected, it is advisable to contact Fujifilm customer support or take the camera to an authorized service center for further assistance. They will have the expertise to diagnose the specific issue and provide appropriate solutions or repairs if needed.
