Your main computer should plug directly into the router. Just remember, your other two computers, if they are NOT laptops, have to be WIFI ready (additional hardware). Laptops come with this hardware.

By default there is no user name and paswor. So try leaving the user name and password blank. If it doesn't work, reset the router. There should be a reset pinhole or button to bring the router to it's factory settings. After resetting the router, try the default user name and password again.
For that you need to connect a cable between the router (LAN) and your computer. Then either follow the steps mentioned below or follow this link (http://www.hnetworking.com/networking-devices/routers/how-to-find-the-ip-address-of-the-router/) Then, click on start->Run->CMD Then on the command prompt type "ipconfig" Then under the Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection you will get Default Gateway number
Most routers have the login username and password set to admin, if this does not work leave the username blank and type in admin for password, try checking underneath the router too, its sometimes written there, Hope this helps...

you need an access point or wireless router. Over here in the UK 802.11a you require a licence for class a devices. However all of the proxim decvices I have used in the past have been A/B/G compliant so you if your particular card is A/B/G compliant then you should be able to get a B/G class access point or router.
Hope this helps, please let me know if you need further assistance.
