Talk to Verizon about a cbale card or special tuner for your Tivo.

You may need a cable card and/or a channel adapter installed. Some carriers give you a hard time about this, but they are available.

Call Tivo and speak to a rep about how to do this. There should be a 10-digit code that identifies your Tivo, write it down in case you are asked for it.

Have you checked your router to make sure that these two Tivos aren't using the same IP??

I would check the router to see if something has changed.
Sometimes you need to re-add the wireless password to the Tivo Setup.

To set the recording quality, go to the Recording Quality screen:

• Software version 3.0 - 3.2: From TiVo Central, select Messages & Setup; then My Preferences; and then Video Recording Quality.
• Software version 7.2 and later: From TiVo Central, select Messages & Settings; then Settings; then Recording; and then Recording Quality.

Since the Series2 doesn't do HD, you don't need any fancy connections, and it's pretty simple to hook up.

1) Disconnect the cable that's connecting your cable box to your TV, from the TV end.
2) Connect the end that *was* connected to your TV, to the "input" on the Tivo.
3) Get another piece of the same cable (coaxial cable), and connect the output of the Tivo to the input on your TV.

That's it.

You may just need to go to Best Buy and get a piece of coaxial cable to connect the Tivo to the TV.

There is a Reset factory default  menu, Use your remote control for go into this menu, by selecting Factory default setting this recorder will reset to the default settings.
