I can only help a little because i have the same problem as you.. i just know the normal wire colors for aftermarket car audio stuff. Red is acc, yellow it batt and black is ground. all the other wires, i have no clue where they go or why. I know one is for the parking brake but im not sure what wire that is but i know it has one because it has to by law.

you need the remote to select play movie from the menu.

To check the fuses of this player you would have to open the back of the bottom part and the fuses should look like a small glass cylinder with metallic ends.

I had the same issue with a Toyota factory DVD, and found several remotes on eBay.
I just searched for
panasonic car dvd remote
and found two listings right away. If neither of those are compatible with your player, just check back again in a week.

I do not like being negative but is very hard to find just the sensor alone. Try places like craiglist and ebay where you find the most uncommon things. On how to replace it just open it up un-weld the sensor and just weld the new one on.

wireless sensor on unit is one of you prob its not picking up signal or head unit has fault

this feature is installed already you really should consort to your dealership because this is their expense

I purchased a 2003 Yukon w/ this identical problem, I found one of the wire harnesses on the back of the main radio head to be loose (back right as you pull the radio unit out. I made sure it was plugged in tight and everything worked.

i just wondering can you play your movie through your car speaker b/c i had install with this professional store and they said it can't play through the car they don't have that feather. soo please reply to [email protected] to let me know thankz

The rca plugs can short out. Or one of the comparator that is for audio selection. Might can get away with just replacing them

Hi Greg, I'd say you have a bad audio output IC, generally this will take out the fusable resistor that feeds the output stage, you should be able to find a part number on the IC, do a pin out and check between B+ and ground pins with it in circuit and see if you see a short. I don't know if you can find a service manual for it but hopefully you wouldn't need one
