I dont know wheather the black do t is coming in your picture also (after down loading you can seee) if yes you hace to clean your ccd/filter etc. If the dot not coming into you picture then you have to clean ur LCD.CONSULT A CAMERA DOCTOR.

You have to install drives and software, as told in your manual. The software came with the camera on CD or DVD. I think Samsung will allow you to download the software when you have registered your camera online.

Having gone over two months without a response to my query, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader solved the problem.

Two things there, first... could be a problem with the viewer screen, or, second choice could be a problem with the CCD sensor or go to bad; in both cases this isn't a job that you could solve yourself; this wrong include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card.

i find that alot of times using the camera to unload your pictures to your computer is more trouble them you need to worry about. i say you just pull out the SD or SDHC card and plug that into you computer. if you dont have an SD or SDHC card reader in you computer you can pick up a cheap one for a few dollars online.
